I intended to take profits at the opening and wait patiently for a re-entry into XLE names/$USO until $CL has a big dip in the next few weeks. Eliminating Khamenei sounds exciting, but it would break the stability of the geopolitical system. Meanwhile, China would get nervous and buy & hold more oil. The same logic applies to gold and silver. I think GC will try to test its previous ATH, and SI will touch the $100 level before retracing and calming down through the end of March. I will take profits first, then patiently buy the dip this month.

我说期权IV过高，HV下跌，可能会跌。原理是杠杆率的问题，就像前段时间CME调高白银的保证金一样，杠杆率从15倍降低到8.8倍，结果跌了一波。当然杠杆率只是可能短期内影响白银的价格，最终还是供需关系决定银的价格。所以长期目前是没有空银的理由。
